Gone are the boxy stylings of the old CISCO styled WRT54G and in come the sleek consumer friendly wireless routers from  Linksys.

So what do you get with the WRT54G2? Not suprisingly this is a Wireless G access point (which uses the 802.11g standard at 54mbps), it also supports the older wireless-B (802.11b at 11Mbps). You may also notice that the antennae appear to have disappeared, but these are now encased into the sleek lines of the case.

The Linksys WRT54G2 wireless router is at the budget end of the range, so will probably make its way into millions of homes across the world. In conclusion, a perfectly decent, easy to set up router.
